Outer Pad Installation
4. Bottom caliper piston in caliper. Install the outer pad, making sure the torque buttons on the pad spring clip are seated solidly in the matching
holes in the caliper.
5. Install the caliper on the spindle, making sure the mounting surfaces are free of dirt and lubricate the caliper grooves with disc brake caliper
grease.
Caliper Pin Installation
NOTICE: A new split shell brake caliper pin has been released to replace the nut and bolt design. The part number is E3TZ-2C150-A. Do not use
the bolt and nut design.
6. Position pin with the pin retention tabs oriented adjacent to the spindle groove.
7. Tap the pin on the outboard end with a hammer. Continue tapping the pin inward until the retention tabs on the sides of the pin contact the spindle
face. Repeat procedure for the lower pin.
