Disconnect the existing harness wire to the throttle kicker (red/w. yellow lash) and connect to the new wiring harness into the 14289 wiring
assembly and the throttle kicker (Figure 19).

Remove the nut from the ground stud and attach the ground eyelet from the new wiring harness (9E724). Re-install the ground nut and tighten
(Figure 19).
