TRANSFER CASE - LINKAGE ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE
LIGHT TRUCKS 1983 RANGER 4x4 AND 1984 BRONCO II
If partial or incomplete engagement of the transfer case shift lever detent position occurs, or should the transfer case control lever assembly require
removal and replacement, use the following adjustment procedures:

Raise the 7E463 shift boot assembly to expose the top surface of the cam plate.
