Wipe the spark plug wire sets with a clean, damp cloth before inspecting them. Without removing the spark plug wire sets from the spark plugs
or ignition coils inspect them for visible damage such as cuts, pinches, or cracked or torn boots.

Apply Silicone Dielectric Compound D7AZ-19A331-A or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESE-M1C171A to the inside of the spark
plug wire boots.
