Ranger 4WD L4-153 2.5L SOHC VIN C SFI (2001)
2. Remove the two passenger air bag retaining screws.
3. Placing one hand in the glove compartment, push the passenger air bag out enough to access the electrical connector.
CAUTION: Do not handle the passenger air bag module by grabbing the edges of the deployment doors.
INSTALLATION
WARNING: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY, READ AND FOLLOW ALL WARNINGS, CAUTIONS AND
NOTES AT THE BEGINNING OF THE REMOVAL PROCEDURE.
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable and wait at least one minute.
2. Remove the restraint system diagnostic tool from the vehicle harness side of the clockspring electrical connector.
3. Connect the passenger air bag module electrical connector.
