Solenoids-Shift, Torque Converter Clutch, Electronic Pressure Control
Removal

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. 
2. Raise and support the vehicle. 
3. Drain the transmission fluid. 

4. Remove the transmission fluid filter.

1. Remove the transmission fluid filter screw.
2. Remove the transmission fluid filter.

5. NOTE:  Main control assembly does not need to be removed for solenoid service.

Remove wire loom guide and protector.

Carefully lift up on wire loom guide and protector and disengage the retaining pins from the solenoid clamps.

6. Disconnect the appropriate solenoid electrical connector.

1. Disconnect shift solenoids electrical connectors.
2. Disconnect the torque converter clutch (TCC) solenoid electrical connector.
3. Disconnect the electronic pressure control (EBC) solenoid electrical connector.
