Wheel Cylinder: Service and Repair
Installation
1. Apply Silicone Rubber D6AZ-19562-AA or equivalent to wheel cylinder mounting area to seal backing plate mounting area.
2. Place the rear wheel cylinder on the brake backing plate and install the retaining bolts and lockwashers.
3. Connect the brake line to the rear wheel cylinder.
4. Install the brake shoes and the connecting links (if equipped). Install the brake drum and adjust the brakes.
5. Install the wheel and tire assembly.
6. Perform system brake bleeding procedures.
CAUTION: Check pedal operation before moving the vehicle.
