Front Door Latch: Service and Repair

Heavy Duty Riveter

SPECIAL TOOL(S)

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the front door trim panel.
3. Remove the water shield.
4. Remove the door glass run retainer.

5. Disconnect the front door latch control cylinder rod from the door lock cylinder lever.

6. Remove the outside door handle actuating rod.
