Water Pump: Service and Repair
Removal
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Drain the cooling system.
3. Remove the fan blade and the fan clutch.
4. Remove the bolts and position the cooling fan shroud out of the way.
5. Remove the drive belt.
6. Remove the water pump pulley.
7. Disconnect the heater water hose.
8. Disconnect the lower radiator hose.
