Ranger 4WD V6-245 4.0L VIN X SFI (1999)
Remove the stud bolt and position the oil level indicator tube bracket off the stud bolt.
7. Remove the bolts and the stud bolt.
8. Remove the LH valve cover.
9. Remove the valve cover gasket.
Installation
1. Clean all the sealing surfaces.
2. Apply a bead of silicone rubber in two places.

Use Gasket and Sealant F7AZ-19554-EA or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSE-M4G323-A4.
