Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor electrical connector from the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor.
4. Remove the bolts and remove the crankshaft position sensor.
INSTALLATION
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
NOTE: Push sensor against pulley wheel to ensure both wear pads are in contact with pulley wheel. Tighten bolts to specified torque.
