Spark Plug Wire Remover

REMOVAL

CAUTION:

Spark plug wires must be connected to the proper ignition coil terminal. Mark spark plug wire locations before removing them.

It is important to twist the spark plug wire boots while pulling upward to avoid possible damage to the spark plug wire.

Do not use special tool on spark plug wire boots with metal heat shields. Damage to the spark plug wire boot may occur.

1. Use the special tool with a twisting motion to pull the spark plug wire off the spark plug.

2. Squeeze the locking tabs and twist while pulling upward to disconnect the spark plug wires from ignition coil.

3. Remove the spark plug wires from the brackets.

INSTALLATION

CAUTION:  Be sure to orient the spark plug boots so the spark plug wires do not contact the exhaust manifold.
