Vacuum Brake Booster Check Valve: Service and Repair
NOTE: The components of the power brake booster check valve are not separately serviceable. If the power brake booster check valve is worn or
damaged, it must be replaced as an assembly.
REMOVAL
1. Remove the vacuum hose from the power brake booster check valve.
2. Pull the power brake booster check valve from the power brake booster.
3. Remove the check valve grommet from the power brake booster.
INSTALLATION
To install, reverse the removal procedure, noting the following:

A new check valve grommet must be installed whenever the power brake booster check valve is serviced.
