Heater Hose: Service and Repair
Heating and Defrosting
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
1. Drain the coolant from the cooling system. Observe the safety precautions covered.
2. Loosen the clamps and remove the heater water hose from the vehicle.
Heater Hose Routing
3. Route the heater water hose.
4. Connect the heater water hose to the fittings and tighten the clamps to specification.
NOTE: DO NOT overtighten the hose clamps.
5. Fill and bleed the cooling system.
6. Check for coolant leaks and for proper operation of the system.
