Camshaft: Description and Operation
The camshaft is installed in the cylinder block and is supported on four bearing inserts. Thrust loads and end play are limited by a camshaft thrust plate
installed in the front of the camshaft. The distributor drive gear, located at the rear of the camshaft, is part of the camshaft.
