Lifter / Lash Adjuster: Description and Operation
Low friction hydraulic roller valve tappets, providing automatic lash adjustment, ride on camshaft lobes and transfer their up-and-down motion to the
rocker arms through push rods. The rocker arms are pedestal mounted and pivot on rocker arm fulcrum bolted to the cylinder head. The exhaust valves
and intake valves are arranged alternately.
