Instrument Panel Bulb: Service and Repair
REMOVAL and INSTALLATION
The removal and installation procedures are identical for all indicators/warning lamps.
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove instrument panel finish panel.
3. Remove screws retaining instrument cluster to instrument panel.
4. Pull instrument cluster rearward to provide access to back of instrument cluster.
5. Turn the desired indicator/warning lamp counterclockwise and remove it from the instrument cluster.
6. Remove the bulb from its socket.
7. For installation, follow the removal procedures in reverse order.
NOTE: When the battery has been disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the powertrain control
module relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 10 miles or more to relearn the strategy.
