Fluid Filter - A/T: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Using a 13 mm socket, remove all M8 x 16 mm fluid pan screws, except for two in the front. Loosen two front screws only.
2. Pry the rear of the pan down and allow fluid to drain.
3. Support fluid pan and remove two remaining screws.
4. Remove fluid pan and discard old gasket.
5. Use a 10 mm socket to remove the M6 x 55 mm fluid filter assembly screw. Remove the fluid filter assembly and discard.
INSTALLATION
1. Clean all mating surfaces, making sure they are free from debris and oil.
2. Install new fluid pan gasket on fluid pan and align holes.
3. Lube and install new O-rings onto filter assembly.
4. Install new filter onto main control assembly.
5. Make sure that both O-rings are properly installed on filter prior to installation.
