Transmission Cooler: Description and Operation

All vehicles with an automatic transmission are equipped with a transmission fluid cooler that is integral with the radiator assembly. In operation, the
transmission fluid travels from the transmission to the cooler in the radiator side tank. The cooler transfers the heat from the transmission fluid to the
engine coolant.
