Water Pump: Service and Repair
Removal
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.
3. Remove the fan blade and the fan shroud.
4. Disconnect the water bypass tube.
5. Remove the accessory drive belt.
6. Remove the bolts and the water pump pulley.
7. Remove the two bolts from the A/C compressor mounting bracket.
8. Disconnect the lower radiator hose.
