Using a Rotunda Spark Plug Wire Remover (T74P-6666-A) or equivalent, remove fuel injector damper assembly. Twist and pull fuel injector
damper assembly to remove it from its mounting. See Figure 4.

Destroy and discard old fuel injector damper assembly.

8.

Lubricate 0-ring of new fuel injector damper assembly with clean 5W-30 motor oil.

Install fuel injector damper assembly. Slight pressure is needed to seat 0-ring.

10.

Install snap ring, ensuring snap ring is fully seated.

11.

Connect fuel injector damper assembly vacuum line.

12.

Position ignition coil pack in installed position. Tighten retaining nuts to 16-20 Nm (12-14 lb-ft).

13.

Start and run engine. Check fuel injector damper assembly for any leaks.
