3. Remove the rear driveshaft.

Remove the bolts.

Remove the rear driveshaft.
4. CAUTION: Use the Converter Seal Remover carefully so that the seal area is not damaged.
Use Seal Remover and Impact Slide Hammer, and remove the extension housing seal.
5. Remove extension housing bushing.

Install Extension Housing Bushing Remover.

Remove extension housing bushing.
Installation
1. CAUTION: The lube hole in the extension housing bushing must be aligned with the lube groove in the extension housing. This groove is
located at the 3 o'clock position when viewed from the rear.
