1. Remove the 60 percent bench armrest. For additional information, refer to Seat Armrest - 60 Percent  See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Arm

Rest/Service and Repair.

2. Remove the backrest recliner handle screw and the handle.

3. Remove the 2 side shield screws.

4. Pull out on the side and the rear of the side shield to detach the 2 clips (1 shown).

5. Remove the outboard recliner cable anchor and swivel and detach the recliner cable end.

6. Remove the outboard pin-type retainer and position the trim cover flap aside.

7. Remove the 2 outboard backrest-to-cushion bolts.

8. Remove the inboard seat backrest latch release cable anchor and swivel and detach the cable end.

9. Remove the front inboard backrest-to-cushion bolt.

10. Remove the inboard rear bolt cover.
