Removal
WARNING: Never probe the electrical connectors on safety belt buckle/retractor pretensioners or adaptive load limiting retractors. Failure to
follow this instruction may result in the accidental deployment of the safety belt pretensioners or adaptive load limiting retractors, which
increases the risk of serious personal injury or death.
NOTE: The air bag warning indicator illuminates when the correct Restraints Control Module (RCM) fuse is removed and the ignition is ON.
NOTE: The Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) must be fully operational and free of faults before releasing the vehicle to the customer.
1. Remove the 60 percent seat backrest assembly. For additional information, refer to Seat Backrest - Front, 60 Percent See: Seat Back/Service and
Repair/Removal and Replacement/Seat Backrest - Front, 60 Percent.
2. Remove the seat track assist spring.
3. Remove the seat track adjustment handle.

Remove one side of the seat track adjustment handle at a time.
4. Remove the 4 seat track-to-cushion frame bolts and remove the seat track from the seat cushion frame.
5. Remove the 8 rail-to-seat track nuts and separate the seat track rails from the seat track.
Installation
1. Install the seat track rails to the seat track and install the 8 nuts.

Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
2. Install the seat track and 4 seat track-to-cushion frame bolts.

Tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).
3. Install the seat track adjustment handle.

Install one side of the seat track adjustment handle at a time.
4. Install the seat track assist spring.
