Vacuum Control Motor - Panel/Floor Door

Removal and Installation

1. Remove the lower steering column cover.

1. Remove the screws and detach the hood release handle.

2. Remove the 2 screws.

3. Remove the lower steering column cover.

2. Remove the bolts and the lower steering column cover reinforcement.

3. Remove the 2 bolts and the instrument panel support brace.

To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

4. Remove the screws and disconnect the vacuum hose.

5. NOTICE: Do not attempt to bend any part of the lever. It is brittle and will break.

Rotate the vacuum control motor until it clears the retaining arm and remove the vacuum control motor.
