Disconnect: SJB C2280a.

Do the front parking lamps continue to illuminate?
Yes
REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
No
GO to M5.

M5 CHECK CIRCUIT CLS34 (GY) FOR A SHORT TO VOLTAGE (REAR PARKING LAMPS)

Disconnect: SJB C2280c.

Do the rear parking lamps continue to illuminate?
Yes
REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
No
GO to M6.

M6 CHECK CIRCUIT CAT17 (BN/WH) FOR A SHORT TO VOLTAGE
-
Measure the voltage between the trailer tow C439-3, circuit CAT17 (BN/WH), harness side and ground.
-
Is any voltage present?
Yes
REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
No
GO to M7.

M7 CHECK CIRCUIT CBP01 (BU) FOR A SHORT TO VOLTAGE

Disconnect: Instrument Panel Dimmer Switch C2065.
-
Measure the voltage between the SJB C2280c-26, circuit CBP01 (BU), harness side and ground.
