Power Steering Fluid Cooler
Removal and Installation
NOTICE: While repairing the power steering system, care should be taken to prevent the entry of foreign material or failure of the power
steering components may result.
1. Using a suitable suction device, remove the power steering fluid from the reservoir.
2. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
3. If equipped, remove the 4 bolts, the 2 pin-type retainers and the front skid plate.

To install, tighten the bolts to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).
4. Remove the 2 power steering fluid cooler nuts.

To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
5. Compress the clamps and disconnect the 2 power steering fluid cooler hoses.
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
7. Fill the power steering system.
