Ranger 4WD V6-4.0L (2009)
2. NOTE: Make sure the parking lever actuating rod is correctly seated in the case parking rod guide cup.
Position the extension housing and install the 6 extension housing screws and studs.

Tighten to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft).
3. Install the insulator into the crossmember.

Tighten to 90 Nm (66 lb-ft).
4. Install the wire harness locators from the extension housing wire bracket.
5. Install the transfer case.
6. Fill the transmission with transmission fluid to the correct level and check for correct transmission operation.
7. Verify park operation. Be sure that the park assembly holds the vehicle stationary when the selector lever is in the PARK position.
