Wiper Motor
Removal and Installation
NOTICE: The internal permanent magnets used in the windshield wiper motor are made of a glass-like material. To avoid damaging the
magnets, do not strike the motor with a hammer or any other object.
NOTE: The windshield wiper motor is not a repairable item. If worn or damaged, a new motor must be installed.
1. Cycle the windshield wiper blades until they are in the straight UP position.
2. Disconnect the windshield wiper motor electrical connector.
3. Position the PCM connector and harness aside.
1. Loosen the bolt.
2. Remove the nut and stud.

Disconnect the PCM electrical connector and position the harness aside.
4. Remove the RH access cover.
1. Remove the screws.
2. Remove the access cover.
5. Reach through the RH access cover opening and remove the wiper motor clip from the RH mounting arm and pivot shaft.
