Standard preparatory measures. - Ask for the radio keycode.
- Make a note of the preset radio stations.
- Lay protective covers over the fenders.

CAUTION:Disconnect the battery negative lead. | | -
NOTE:Close off the refrigerant line and condenser with plugs. Detach the refrigerant lines at the condenser (one nut each). | | -
Remove the nuts from the radiator (two nuts, right-hand side shown). - Unclip and disconnect the plug for the HO2S sensor.

Detach the cover (seven bolts, one nut). | | -
Disconnect and unclip the plugs. | | -
Detach the bracket for the power steering pipes. - Pull the pipes to the back.
- Unhook the fan and take it out downwards.

CAUTION:Before unscrewing the radiator support, secure the radiator to prevent it falling down. NOTE:Do not take out the radiator crossmember. Remove the bolts from the radiator crossmember on both sides (four bolts, left-hand side shown). - Unhook the radiator at the bottom and pull the radiator crossmember towards the rear.

Remove the condenser. - Unhook the condenser from the bracket (first slide the condenser to the right, then to the left).

NOTE:Tightening torques: For additional information, refer to Specification - in this section. NOTE:Renew the O-rings and coat with refrigerant oil. Refit the components in the reverse order. | | -
Standard finishing operations. - Connect the battery negative lead.
- Remove the protective covers.
- Reprogramme the preset radio stations.
- Road test the vehicle to collect data for the PCM.
