  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure that the convertible top assembly and the door are fully closed. Make sure the door window glass is in the fully raised position.
    Check and note the door window glass alignment.
  1. Remove the exterior mirror. For additional information, refer to Section  501-09 Rear View Mirrors.

  1. Connect the power window control switch electrical connector.

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Do not touch the adhesive surface as re-bonding will be impaired.
    Detach the watershield from the door panel.

  1. Loosen the door window regulator retaining nuts.
  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:The door window glass alignment is carried out by adjusting the door window regulator front and rear guides in relation to the door panel.
    Using a glazing suction cup, adjust the door window glass on the X axis by moving the door window glass and door window regulator assembly either left or right.

  1. Tighten the door window regulator rear guide retaining nuts.
  1. Fully lower and raise the door window glass.

  1. Tighten the door window regulator front guide upper retaining nut.
  1. Fully lower the door window glass.

  1. Tighten the door window regulator front guide lower retaining nut.
  1. Close the door. Fully raise the door window glass and check the door window glass alignment on the X axis. Repeat the adjustment if necessary.
  1. Lower the door window glass approximately 6 cm.

  1. Loosen the door window glass clamp to door window regulator retaining bolts.
    • Align the door window glass clamp to door window regulator bolts with the access holes.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure that the measurements between the door window glass clamps and the door window regulator anchor plates are equal.
    Using a glazing suction cup, adjust the door window glass on the Y axis by raising or lowering the door window glass.

  1. Tighten the door window glass clamp retaining bolts.
  1. Close the door. Fully raise the door window glass and check the door window glass alignment on the Y axis. Repeat the adjustment if necessary.
  1. Check the door window glass alignment on the Z axis.
  1. Open the door.
  1. Lower the door window glass approximately 10 mm.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE: The fine adjustment screws must be turned by equal amounts on the front and rear door window regulator clamps.
    Adjust the door window glass on the Z axis by turning the fine adjustment screws.
    • Turn the screws clockwise to lower the door window glass.
    • Turn the screws counterclockwise to raise the door window glass.
  1. Close the door. Fully raise the door window glass and check the door window glass alignment on the Z axis. Repeat the adjustment if necessary.
  1. Fully lower and raise the door window glass and check the complete door window alignment. If the door window glass alignment is not within specification, repeat the adjustment procedure.

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION: Do not touch the adhesive surface as re-bonding will be impaired.
    Attach the watershield to the door panel.

  1. Disconnect the power window control switch electrical connector.
  1. Install the exterior mirror. For additional information, refer to Section  501-09 Rear View Mirrors.
