Removal/Installation

See Figure 2.

1.

Open luggage compartment door and remove lower back panel trim-to-cover assembly.

2.

Remove (2) screw and washer assemblies attaching the luggage compartment striker assembly.

3.

Install new striker assembly (part number E6DZ- 54404B42-B). Cycle luggage compartment door so that latch to striker is properly aligned.

4.

Adjust striker position as necessary to assure positive latching. (Torque screws to 9-14 N-m.)
