Recall - Catalytic Converter Replacement for Taurus V6-182 30L (1987) Powertrain Management
Installation
1.
Transfer HEGO sensor to new catalyst assembly.
2.
Loosely install catalyst to resonator using a new gasket.
3.
Connect HEGO sensor.
4.
Install converter and exhaust pipe assembly to manifold connections.
5.
Loosely install bolt, nut and spring to converter and transaxle.
6.
Align exhaust system to specification. Starting at front of system, tighten all nuts and bolts to specification as shown in illustration.
7.
Lower vehicle and connect battery negative cable.
