Remove lower engine/flywheel dust cover from converter housing.
9.
Remove oil pan gasket, then timing belt pulley as described under TIMING BELT.
10.
Remove sump pump to oil pump attaching bolts.
11.
Remove oil pump to block attaching bolts, then remove pump.
12.
Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque oil pump bolts to specifications.
b. Torque oil pan bolts to specifications, in sequence, Fig. 20.
