Power Antenna Motor: Service and Repair

Removal and Installation

1. Push in on sides of glove compartment door and place glove compartment door in hinged downward position.

2. Disconnect radio antenna lead in cable from RH rear of radio chassis and remove from heater or A/C cable retaining clips.

3. Remove RH front fender splash shield. Disconnect co-axial cable from automatic power electric antenna assembly. Disconnect power lead from

automatic power electric antenna.

4. Under RH front fender, pull radio antenna lead in cable through hole in door hinge pillar and remove radio antenna lead in cable from wheel well

area.

5. To remove power antenna base, remove radio antenna nut and radio antenna stanchion on RH front fender.

6. Remove lower antenna base screw and remove automatic power electric antenna.

7. To install, reverse Removal procedure.
