Connect the CBM to the cooling fan motor, then connect the vehicle harness to the CBM. Secure the CBM to the shroud with one (1) of the
supplied tie straps. See Figure 4.

Position the radiator upper sight shield onto the vehicle and install the fasteners.
6.
Connect the battery negative cable and set radio stations.
7.
Check cooling fan operation.
Taurus/Sable 3.8L
NOTE:
If the vehicle is equipped with the jumper harness installed as part of Safety Recall 97S66 or 95S22, it will be removed and discarded. See Figure 5.

Record radio preset stations, then disconnect the battery negative cable.
2.
Remove and discard the jumper harness (installed as part of Safety Recall 97S66 or 95S22), if equipped.
