ISSUE:
Some Taurus/Sable and all 1995-96 Continentals contain an AX4N transaxle. The AX4N transaxle has a different shift calibration than the AX4S.
ACTION:
When diagnosing is required on an AX4N transaxle, refer to the following Solenoid Operation Chart for the correct operating modes.
