Remove the fuel lever assembly, Figure 4.
a.
Replace with liftgate release/fuel lever release combination assembly (F3DZ-7443150-B).
b.
Connect the wiring, Figure 5.
4.
Check for presence of relay behind right rear trim panel, Figure 2. Install new relay (FOAZ-14N089-B), if necessary.
5.
Reprogram remote keyless entry module if equipped. Replace the 3-button transmitter with the 4-button transmitter (F4DZ-15K601-A). Two (2)
required per vehicle.
