Press rear locking tab into rear slot, Figure 4.

Install new shifter bezel and reinstall shifter knob. Refer to Service Manual Section 07-05.

NOTE:
ALIGN BEZEL INDICATOR SLIDE (SLOT) WITH PIN.

Install console assembly. Refer to Service Manual Section 01-12.

NOTE:
DO NOT LUBRICATE THE NEW BEZEL OR PIN.
