Taurus V6-195 3.2L DOHC SHO (1994)
1. Retract piston fully in piston bore. Make sure inner and outer pads are properly positioned. Make sure that front wheel disc brake pad insulators
are attached to the brake pad plate. Make sure lining material is facing front disc brake rotor. Position caliper over front rotor.
CAUTION: Do not pry directly against metal piston, or damage to piston will occur.
2. Install rear brake pin retainer through front disc brake caliper holes into disc brake caliper locating pins and hand start.
NOTICE: If the caliper was removed for service, make sure it is installed on the correct knuckle. The caliper bleed screw should be positioned on
top of caliper when assembled on vehicle.
3. Tighten two rear brake pin retainers to 31-38 Nm (23-28 ft lb).
4. If caliper was serviced, remove plug and install front brake hose on disc brake caliper with new copper washer on each side of fitting outlet. Insert
retaining bolt through washers and fitting. Tighten to 41-54 Nm (30-40 ft lb).
5. Perform system brake bleeding procedures (only if caliper was serviced). Always reinstall rubber bleed screw cap after brake bleeding.
WARNING: Before moving vehicle, pump brake pedal several times to be sure it is firm. Do not move vehicle until a firm pedal is
obtained.

1. Remove the caliper assembly.
2. Remove brake pads.
