Camshaft Oil Seal: Service and Repair
1.
Set engine to TDC on No. 1 cylinder.
2.
Remove timing belt upper cover.
3.
Remove timing belt from camshaft pulleys.
4.
Remove camshaft pulleys, noting location of dowel pins.
5.
Using seal puller T78P-3504-N or equivalent, remove camshaft seal.
6.
Reverse procedure to install, applying silicone sealer D6AZ-19562-A or equivalent to new seal outer diameter and seal seating surface prior to
installation.
