Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair
Right Side
1. Remove righthand cylinder head from engine.
2. Remove heat shield attaching bolts.
3. Remove exhaust manifold attaching nuts, then the manifold.
4. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Lightly lubricate bolts and nuts with oil.
b. Tighten manifold attaching nuts to 26-38 ft lb.
c. Tighten heat shield attaching bolts to 11-16 ft lb.
d. Install righthand cylinder head.
