1993-94 CONTINENTAL, SABLE

ISSUE:
The heater blower motor may be inoperative in the "automatic" mode on vehicles built from 8/2/93 through 9/24/93. This may be due to a faulty Cold
Engine Lockout Switch.

ACTION:
Refer to the appropriate Service Manual, Section 12-03A, for diagnostic procedures. If a faulty Cold Engine Lockout Switch is verified, replace the
switch and hose assembly with an improved assembly (F10Y-18D376-A).

NOTE:

REPLACE THE SWITCH AND HOSE ASSEMBLY. REPLACEMENT OF JUST THE SWITCH WILL RESULT IN SWITCH FAILURE.
