Follow black/orange wire from power distribution box to single wire connector, about 6" (152 mm) long, and disconnect the connector (Figure 4).

Follow black/orange wire from single wire connector, disengaging the christmas tree retainer(s) as required, down to starter relay.

From underneath the vehicle, near the starter, remove the nut and the negative battery cable from the engine block (Figure 5). Installation torque of
nut is 19.1-25.9 N-m (14-19 lb.ft.).
11.
From underneath the vehicle, at the starter relay, remove the plastic protective cap from the relay. Remove the nut retaining the battery positive
cable and the black/orange wire to the relay. Installation torque of nut is 10.2-13.8 N-m (90-122 lb.in.).
12.
Disengage H02S connector Christmas tree retainer from harness.
