Floor Shift Knob
REMOVAL
1. Remove the 0/D lockout switch using needle nose pliers.
2. Remove the retaining clip from the shift knob.
3. Hold the shift knob securely and press the release button.
4. Pull up on the shift knob.
5. Place the shifter in the 1 (manual 1st) position and gently pull the overdrive lockout connector up.
INSTALLATION
1. Slide the knob over the shift lever and the 0/D switch connector and wiring. Push the excess wiring through the shroud. Gently shift into the PARK
position to help pull the wires through.
2. Slide the 0/D switch connector into the shift knob and firmly press the shift knob fully onto the shift lever.
3. Insert the retaining clip.
4. Press the 0/D switch into the shift knob.
