Wheel Cylinder: Service and Repair
Removal
For additional information see Notes, Warnings, and Hints.
1. Remove wheel and tire assembly.
2. Remove brake drum.
3. Remove brake shoe assembly.
4. Disconnect the brake line from the brake cylinder and plug line to prevent air from entering the system.
NOTICE: Use caution to prevent brake fluid from contacting brake linings or they must be replaced.
5. Remove wheel cylinder retaining bolts and remove wheel cylinder.
