ACTION:
Install thrust washers and needle bearings as required. Refer to the appropriate model year Taurus/Sable or Continental Shop Manual,
Section 17-15for service details. Use the following Installation Sequence and Assembly Charts to help with proper assembly of the
parts.
NOTE:
THE CHART INFORMATION IS NUMERICALLY REVERSED TO ASSUME THE SEQUENCE OF INSTALLATION FOR THE
TOTAL TRANSAXLE REBUILD.
