NOTE: The restraint system diagnostic tools for the driver and passenger safety belt pretensioners are similar but not interchangeable. Make
sure to install the correct tool in the correct connector
8. Remove the driver seat front bolt trim covers.
9. Remove the driver seat front bolts.
10. Reconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Battery.
11. Position the driver seat forward.
12. Disconnect the battery ground cable and wait at least one minute. For additional information, refer to Battery.
13. Remove the driver seat rear nut trim covers.
14. Remove the driver seat rear nuts.
