On some vehicles, there may be an inadvertent stop lamp switch activation with the brake pedal not depressed. This may be caused by the stoplamp
switch wire harness.
ACTION
Install a new Stoplamp Switch Jumper Harness.

Remove the instrument panel (I/P) lower steering column cover.
