5. Disconnect the passenger seat side air bag (if equipped) and ten-pin electrical connectors.
6. Attach the diagnostic tool(s) to the passenger seat electrical connector(s).

Attach the Passenger Safety Belt Pretensioner Restraint System Diagnostic Tool to the ten-pin floor electrical connector.

Attach the restraint system diagnostic tool to the passenger seat air bag floor electrical connector (if equipped).
NOTE: The restraint system diagnostic tools for the driver and passenger safety belt pretensioners are similar but not interchangeable. Make sure
to install the correct tool in the correct connector.
All vehicles
7. Disconnect the driver seat side air bag (if equipped) and ten-pin electrical connectors.
8. Attach the diagnostic tool(s) to the driver seat electrical connector(s).

Attach the Driver Safety Belt Pretensioner Restraint System Diagnostic Tool to the ten-pin floor electrical connector.

Attach the restraint system diagnostic tool to the driver seat side air bag floor electrical connector (if equipped).
